Motor-driven vaneaxial blower available with adapters for exhaust applications Light in weight, but ruggedly built for rough industrial use, Prime-Air Tornado Electric Blowers provide up to 3,000 CFM free air delivery for ventilation of tanks, manholes, process vessels, and similar confined spaces, as well as for cooling or drying applications. When fitted with optional inlet duct adapters the TORNADO's high static pressure capability makes these units ideal for exhaust applications. Single and dual adapters are available. The dual inlet adapter is used with two exhaust ducts for removing welding fumes or toxic vapors from two locations at once. Electric-motor powered, these lightweight units are easily transported from one place to another. |

Features
Tornado 8 is powered with a Baldor 3/4 HP TEFC motor
(totally enclosed fan cooled) and the Tornado 12 is powered with a Baldor 1 HP TEFC motor
as standard. Explosion Proof motors (hazardous locations) are available options. TORNADO 8 & 12 TEFC units are furnished with a surface mounted General Electric Motor Starter On/Off switch, with a heater(s) and a 6' electrical cord with a grounded wire plug connection. TORNADO 8 &12* Explosion Proof units are supplied with a Square D On/Off explosion proof switch. Note: Cord and plug are by others. * TORNADO 12 Explosion Proof unit is approved and certified by American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). All Tornado models are built to the same specifications. |

carry handle. Rugged steel welded nose cone with welded air guide eliminates settling and insures a quality product for many years of trouble free service. All Welded Steel Construction is standard. No castings to break or crack.
